Spotted's policies against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

Zero Tolerance Policy
Spotted has an absolute zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child exploitation, and any content that sexualizes, endangers, or harms minors in any way. This policy is non-negotiable and applies to all users without exception.
1Prohibited Content and Behavior
The following content and behaviors are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate action:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including images, videos, or text
- Any sexual or suggestive content involving minors
- Content that depicts, promotes, or glorifies child abuse or exploitation
- Grooming behaviors or attempts to contact minors for inappropriate purposes
- Sharing, requesting, or distributing content that exploits children
- Any content that sexualizes minors, including fictional or AI-generated content
- Content that endangers children or promotes harm to minors
- Sextortion or blackmail involving minors
- Any attempt to circumvent our child safety measures
2Our Safeguards
Automated Content Moderation
All images and videos uploaded to Spotted are automatically scanned using advanced machine learning technology to detect and block CSAM and other prohibited content before it can be published.
Human Review
Our trained moderation team reviews flagged content and user reports. We prioritize reports related to child safety and take immediate action when violations are identified.
User Reporting
Users can easily report suspicious content or behavior through our in-app reporting system. Reports related to child safety are given the highest priority and reviewed immediately.
Age Requirements
Spotted is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users must confirm they meet the minimum age requirement.
3Enforcement Actions
When we identify violations of our child safety policies, we take immediate and decisive action:
- 1Immediate Content Removal
Violating content is removed immediately upon detection or confirmation
- 2Permanent Account Termination
Accounts involved in CSAE violations are permanently banned with no appeal
- 3Law Enforcement Reporting
We report CSAM and exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations
- 4Evidence Preservation
We preserve relevant evidence and account information for law enforcement as required by law
4How to Report Violations
If you encounter any content that violates our child safety policies, please report it immediately:
Within the Spotted App
Tap the three-dot menu on any post or profile and select "Report". Choose the appropriate category related to child safety. Your report will be prioritized.
Report to Authorities
You can also report CSAM directly to:
- • NCMEC CyberTipline (USA)
- • Internet Watch Foundation (UK)
- • Your local law enforcement
