We're sorry to see you go. This page explains how to delete your account and what happens to your data.
1How to Delete Your Account
From the Spotted Mobile App:
- 1Open the Spotted app on your device
- 2Go to your Profile tab
- 3Tap the Settings icon (gear icon)
- 4Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
- 5Confirm your decision when prompted
Can't Access the App?
If you're unable to access the app or need assistance, you can request account deletion by email:

2Data That Will Be Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently deleted:
- Your profile information (name, bio, profile photo)
- All posts, photos, and videos you've uploaded
- Your garage and vehicle information
- Comments and likes on posts
- Messages and conversation history
- Event RSVPs and attendance records
- Community memberships
- Marketplace listings
- Notification history
- Follower and following relationships
3Data That May Be Retained
Certain information may be retained for limited periods as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Transaction records
Payment and purchase history may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance
- Aggregated analytics
Anonymous, non-identifiable usage data may be retained for analytics purposes
- Backup copies
Data may exist in backup systems for up to 30 days after deletion
- Legal holds
Data may be retained if subject to ongoing legal proceedings or investigations
Important Information
- •Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- •If you have an active subscription, please cancel it before deleting your account
- •You may create a new account with the same email address after deletion
- •Content you've shared may still be visible to others who saved or shared it externally
